Grave Exhumation
We exhume and relocate remains from a cemetery, at Choa Chu Kang Cemetery because of the New Burial Policy, and the exhumation of more than 80,000 graves for the expansion of Tengah Airbase.

STEP 1: Site Survey
We start by visiting the site to view and determine if it can be recovered.
STEP 2: Auspicious Date
We recommend a few auspicious dates for you to select your preferred date for the exhumation.
STEP 3: Permit Application
We assist you with the permit application to NEA online.
STEP 4: Ground Breaking Prayer
A Ground Breaking Prayer session will be conducted to gain blessings for the exhumation process.
STEP 5: Night Exhumation
With respect to the deceased, exhumation services are conducted after sunset. Family members are encouraged to witness the process.
STEP 6: Post Exhumation
Upon exhumation, we will clear the debris from the tomb and provide new soil to fill up the exhumed tomb.
STEP 7: Cremation
We will assist with the bone-picking ceremony and provide the prayer offerings as well as essential items like the red cloth, red plate & umbrella for the cremation.
STEP 8: Ash Transportation
The cremation ashes will be placed into an urn to be transported to the columbarium.
STEP 9: Final Prayers
We will conduct a Final Prayer service for the installation of the urn to ensure the deceased will have a peaceful rest in their new home.

NEW EXHUMATION PHASE FOR GRAVES AT BLOCKS 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 3E, 14E, 14F, 14G, 17, 18 AND 19 WITHIN THE CHOA CHU KANG CHINESE CEMETERY
In 1998, the Government announced the burial period for all graves within Choa Chu Kang (CCK) Cemetery would be limited to 15 years to ensure the sustainability of cemetery land use. Hence, graves that are 15 years or older would be progressively exhumed over time to free up land to allow development of new burial plots. Since 2004, CCK graves have been progressively exhumed, in phases.
The affected graves under CCK Phase 9 exhumation programme are located at BLOCKS 3A, 3B, 3C, 3D, 3E, 14E, 14F, 14G, 17, 18 and 19 within the CCK Chinese Cemetery (please refer to location map).
